Free SEO and website tools

Write meta titles and descriptions, preview how a page may look in search results, check keyword density, create clean URL slugs and generate robots.txt and XML sitemap files.

Practical help with on-page SEO

Search engine optimisation starts with the basics: a clear title, a useful description, a readable URL and a site that search engines can crawl. The Meta Title Generator and Meta Description Generator give you several starting points built from your own keyword and details, with live character counts so you can edit them to the right length. Check the result in the SERP Snippet Preview, which estimates where desktop and mobile results would cut your text off.

The Keyword Density Checker shows which words and phrases dominate your content, which helps you spot accidental repetition. The Slug Generator turns any title into a short, lowercase URL. For technical setup, the Robots.txt Generator and Sitemap XML Generator produce valid files you can upload to your site.

Honest about what SEO tools can do

These tools are transparent and rule-based. They do not use AI, do not contact search engines and do not crawl your website. They help you do the basics well, but no title, description or density figure can guarantee a ranking. Search engines reward pages that are genuinely useful, fast and easy to read, so use the tools to polish content that already helps your visitors.

SEO tools FAQ

What is a good length for a meta title?

Around 50–60 characters, or roughly 600 pixels on desktop. Longer titles are often shortened with an ellipsis.

Does the sitemap generator crawl my site?

No. You paste the list of URLs you want included. If you use WordPress with an SEO plugin, a sitemap is usually generated for you automatically.

Is there a perfect keyword density?

No. There is no official target. Write naturally for readers and use the checker to avoid stuffing the same phrase over and over.
