How to reverse text

- The reversed text appears instantly on the right.
- Click Copy result, or Use result as input to reverse again in another mode.
Four ways to reverse
Characters mirrors the whole text, so “Hello world” becomes “dlrow olleH”. Word order keeps each word readable but reverses their order on every line: “one two three” becomes “three two one”. Line order flips a list upside down, which is useful for turning newest-first lists into oldest-first. Each word’s letters keeps words in place but writes each one backwards.
Many simple reversers break emoji, flags and accented characters because those are made of several code units. This tool splits text into the characters you actually see, so 👍🏽 and é survive reversal unchanged. Everything runs in your browser.
Fun and practical uses
- Creating puzzles, riddles and secret messages.
- Reversing a chronological list or log file.
- Checking palindromes such as “racecar”.
- Testing how software handles reversed or mirrored input.

No fixed limit. Very long texts are reversed instantly on most devices.
Is my text stored?
No. It stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere.
